KONSEPT: "MEKANLA BÜTÜNLESEN YESIL"
Kalamis Marina’da bulunan bes yildizli Otelin Mimarisi neoklasik oldugu için, Otelin Peyzaj Mimari Tasarimi da mimariyi desteklemek ve bütünlük saglamasi amaci ile formal bir peyzaj alani olarak tasarlandi. Yapisal ve Bitkisel Peyzaj da net geometriler, budanabilen, formlu bitkiler, daire ve dikdörtgen sabit ve mobil saksilar kullanildi. Otelin peyzaj projesi tasarlanirken yapisal peyzaj alani maksimum talep edildiginden, avluda özel olarak tasarlanan mobil saksilarla bitkisel peyzaj uygulandi. Bu saksilar; avluda farkli kullanim alternatiflerine olanak saglanmasi amaçlanmis olup, organizasyonlarda ihtiyaç durumuna göre yer degistirilerek istenilen hacimler saglandi. Otelin bahçe kotunda: avlu, yüzme havuzu, güneslenme terasi ve cafe bulunmaktadir. Yapisal Peyzaj olarak; Zeminde dogal tas, betonarme saksiliklar, özel tasarlanan fiber mobil saksilar ve ferforje bitki paravani imalati yapildi. Bitkisel Peyzaj olarak; top ve piramidal formlu, her dem yesil ithal bitkiler kullanildi. Kalamis’in tarihçesinde, villa bahçelerinde kullanilan Manolyalar, otelin genel bitki örtüsünü olusturarak tarihsel dil canlandirildi. Özel imalat büyük saksilarda (çap:100cm): çiçekli büyük agaç olarak Kamelya ve Manolyalar kullanilarak binanin sert zemin yapisi yumusatildi. Bahçede: çit bitkisi olarak; defne, büyük Manolyalar (h:500cm), saksilarda; kirmizi meyveli çobanpüskülü (Ilex), top formlu ve piramidal formlu porsuk çami (Taxus baccata), top formlu simsir (Buxus), renkli yaprakli cennet bambusu (Nandina), kaya sarmasigi (Hedera helix), kirmizi çiçekli sakiz sardunyasi kullanildi. Çati terasta; yüzme havuzu ve güneslenme terasina uygun olarak bitkiler saksilarda kullanildi ve dikdörtgen saksilarda dikilen bitkilerle bordür saglandi. Iç mekanda yüksek tavanli balo salonun fuayesinde yapay isikta yetisebilen canli yesil renkte ithal “zamioculcas” bitkisi kullanildi.

"GREEN INTEGRATED WITH SPACE"
Since the architecture of the five-star hotel in Kalamis Marina is neoclassical, the landscape project has been designed as a landscape area supporting the existing architecture and integrity. Definitive clear-cut geometric forms, pruning formed plants, stable and portable pots in both circular and rectangular shapes were used in the landscape. During the project design process, it was highly demanded for maximum ‘constructional’ landscape area, therefore, the ‘ botanical’ landscape was adopted in the portable tailor-made pots in the courtyard. These portable pots were designed accordingly for providing different alternatives of usage for different needs of hotel organisations in terms of quantity and space. At the hotel's garden level; a courtyard, swimming pool, sunbathing terrace and cafe were built. In terms of constructional landscape; natural stone, reinforced concrete pots, tailor-made fiber portable pots and wrought iron plant parquet were manufactured on the ground. Whereas, in terms of botanical landscape; circular and pyramidal shaped, green, imported plants were used everywhere. Regarding the history of Kalamis planting magnolias in villa gardens, the hotel’s general flora was also developed accordingly highlighting this historical atmosphere. As a hedge plant bay-trees were used in the garden; moreover, large magnolias used in the pots; red-frangled holly, circular and pyramidal shaped yew pine, circular shaped bushy rock ivy were also used. On the roof terrace, in accordance with the swimming pool and the sunbathing terrace, the plants were selected and the borders were built with the plants planted in rectangular pots. In indoor area of high-ceiling ballroom foyer, a vivid green-colored imported “zamloculcas” plant that can grow in artificial light was also used.
